When I am not on campus, Mrs. Ortega will be helping students in the library. Each class will come to the library for at least 30 minutes each week. |

Accelerated Reader

Our students at Scharbauer love to read. They are very involved in the A.R. program. It is a great program that increases comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. A.R. books are identified by their level and number of points. The A.R. reading level is a range that identifies the best levels that will help the students practice and improve their reading. The points are calculated by the number of words in the book. The more words a book has, then the more points it has. Please encourage your children to read every night.
