Assignments
Students should have their planners with them after school listing their homework. They will be doing a lot of writing this semester and will have homework for me every time they come to class. Please help by reminding students that their homework will be due at the next class meeting.
Fourth Six Weeks:
This six weeks students will have homework in vocabulary and in their grammar and grammar workbooks along with some writing samples. We are working on combining sentences and on writing revisions of essays in grammar. In writing we are working on building an essay using the writing diamond, along with proof reading and editing other student's writings.
The TAKS test is right around the corner, and in order to help those students who are weak on some of the objectives, mandatory tutorials will be assigned at the beginning of the six weeks.
