| | | | In our Technology classes, we will be studying the areas of Energy, Power and Transportation and learning about different elements related to each area and how it benefits modern society. As an activity, students will design, construct and fly model rockets to learn about aerodynamics and weights and balances. Students will also continue working on projects they have designed and are currently building.
In Academic Strategies, we will spend time reading and doing TAKS related activities in an effort to improve reading skills. The purpose in Academic Strategies will be to emphasize the TEKS objectives. Class assignments will include the study of literary elements through novels and other hands on activities.
We will also visit the library every two weeks with an emphasis on the Accelerated Reading program where students can check our AR qualified books and take AR tests.
