1. Once you enter the room, be in your assigned seat working on the warm-up when the tardy bell rings. (Tardies will be counted.)
2. Bring all materials every day.
3. No chewing gum in class at any time.
4. Bring reading material (book, magazine, etc.) every day.
5. Follow along when we read together in class.
6. Follow the teacher's instructions and stay seated during instruction.
7. When a substitute teacher is present, all class rules still apply.
8. Raise your hand to ask and answer questions.
9. Answer all written questions with a complete sentence.
10. Always say thank you when given something, don't insult the gift or the giver.
11. Show respect for yourself, others, and all property. (Be friendly)
12. Encourage your classmates.
13. Surprise others by performing random acts of kindness.
14. If someone bumps into you, say excuse me, even if it was not your fault.
15. Do not ask for a reward.
16. If you win, do not brag; if you lose, do not show anger.
17. No personal grooming articles in class.
18. Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough and say excuse me.
19. Clean up after yourself inside and outside of the classroom.
20. If someone drops something and you are close to it, pick it up, even if you did not put it there.
21. Be as organized as possible.
22. You must complete your homework every day it is assigned.
23. Transitions will be swift, quiet, and orderly.
24. Make-up work is to be requested by you and submitted according to the guidelines stated in the Student Handbook.
25. Actively listen and participate in all class activities.
26. Stand up for what you believe in.
27. Be positive and enjoy life.
28. Learn from your mistakes and move on.
29. No matter the circumstances, always be honest.
30. Be the best person you can be.
