Welcome to Semester #2!! It's hard to believe that we are already half-way through! This semester we will be touching up on our TAKS objective understanding. The two objectives that tend to give students a hard time are objectives 3 & 4, so we will be covering these two objectives "hard & heavy"! **ATTENTION PARENTS:
1. PLEASE ASK YOUR STUDENT ABOUT THE READING LOG THEY SHOULD BE BRINGING HOME EVERY NIGHT. I'VE CHANGED THE LAYOUT OF THIS READING LOG, HOPING TO MAKE IT EASIER TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR AR POINTS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR (10 PER 6 WEEKS = TEST GRADE.)
2. STUDENT'S ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT, SINCE WE WILL BE COVERING NEW TAKS-BASED MATERIAL.
3. MANDATORY READING TUTORIALS WILL BEGIN JANUARY 14TH. YOU WILL RECEIVE A LETTER IF WE THINK YOUR STUDENT NEEDS TO ATTEND THESE TUTORIALS FOR REINFORCEMENT. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
