The Midland Independent School District Police Department was established in 1989 to provide for the safety and security of all students, staff and those who visit our campuses. We also provide specialized services to central administrative and school staffs as they fulfill their responsibilities in providing a safe learning environment for students and a safe workplace for teachers and other district personnel.

The MISD Police Department is staffed with a lieutenant, certified police officers and non certified security officers, who are assigned at all secondary campuses. Calls for service are processed by a full time dispatcher.

The MISD Police Department actively trains with other area law enforcement agencies to ensure the best possible response to any situation requiring police attention.
