Scott Skidmore, an assistant principal at San Jacinto Junior High, told the entire student body of SJ that, "not all learning happens in the classroom." He was so right. There are many opportunities for teachers and administrators to travel worldwide to observe and participate in educational activities. Several MISD teachers and even our Director of Fine Arts have travelled to Japan with the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund. This and many other programs are out there waiting for those with interest and a sense of adventure. Check it out.
