This group of ladies work as a team building trusting relationship with families, support families as they identify their goals, strenghts and needs and recommends strategies to coordinate, monitor, evaluate and advocate for services to meet the families needs and achieve their goals.
The Family Service Workers focuses on the skills from the family goal setting process to support the family's growth; learning from significant life events, identifying internal and external supports, visioning, creating a family picture, setting goals, developing and implementing a family plan and providing follow-up. The entire Head Start staff pulls together as a team to respond to family crisis. The Family and Community Partnership team approaches preventing crises in vulnerable families.
