Welcome to the Lamar Elementary School! The staff of Lamar Elementary has set high expectations for all students regardless of their home background, previous academic achievements, or socio-economic status. It is our belief that the primary purpose of the instructional emphasis of the school is to set high standards of academic performance for all students. These goals can be accomplished by implementing a balanced instructional program designed to meet the academic needs of each student and to provide the support system for success. Please use this web site to gain information about your child's school and to communicate with the administration and teachers at Lamar. Education is a direct result of a cooperative partnership between home and school; with this site we have strengthened that connection. Our school wide focus on safety, respect, and responsibility guides our interactions at Lamar. Lamar’s doors are always open and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.
