Kaye Harrison has been an educator for twenty three years. She is a graduate of Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. For 20 years she was a classroom teacher and reading specialist. After receiving her Master of Arts in Education Administration from University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Mrs. Harrison became an Administrative Intern at Lamar Elementary. She served in that position for two years. This year she became the principal of Lamar Elementary. Kaye Harrison has been a Jones Elementary Teacher of the Year, UTPB Outstanding Graduate Student in 2005, and named to Who's Who Among American Teachers. She believes that children should become lifelong learners and that going to school should be a memory making process. |

Ramoncita Peņa has been an educator for ten years. She recieved her Bachelor of Art from University of Texas of the Permain Basin. For six years she taught 1st grade three years of that was in a Bilingual classroom. Then for two years 3rd grade. After that she taught Special Education for two years. She received her Master of Art in Educational Leadership in the Spring of 2005. This year is her first year as Administrative Intern at Lamar Elementary. |
