| As we approach the 2007-2008 school year, we are excited about the opportunities that are available for students at San Jacinto Junior High. I want to welcome the seventh graders to San Jacinto Junior High School and welcome the eighth graders back for another great year. Our faculty and staff are committed to ensuring success for all students. With an emphasis on academic achievement, teachers, counselors and administrators work to promote success for all students. Utilizing the teaming concept allows teachers to work with a core group of students; teachers in the core areas (English, math, science and social studies) share a common teaming time where they plan interdisciplinary units of instruction, conference with parents and students, track student progress and recognize student success. Mark your calendars for Mustang Mania which will be held on August 23rd from 4 PM – 6 PM. You will start on the east side of the building by the auditorium to pick up the course list and then you will continue through the building – various groups and organizations will be on campus to distribute information you will need as the school year begins. You will also have an opportunity to purchase San Jacinto and Midland High spirit items. Have a great summer; we will see you at Mustang Mania on the 23rd of August and then on August 27th for the first day of school. |
