| | From the Principal's Pen..... | Dear Abell Parents,
Parents, we are having a hard time getting students to turn in their homework. Mandatory tutorials have been put in place to keep students from failing their classes. Please see that your child does their homework every night. All sutdents at Abell have homework.

We have 3 new officers!

The elections were close and all the candidates did an amazing job! We have been busy donating Teddy Bears for Rays of Hope Grief Center (we have 6 kids deliver them to Heritage Bank and they were on the news!) and bring toys for Toys for Tots! What excellent kids we have! Things to remember...All NJHS members must complete 4 hours of community service before May 1st and we will have a cookie sale February 14 for the students who didn't bringcookies in November or donate $5.

| Attention All Students!!

Applications for next year's honors classes have arrived. Please stop by your counselor's office to pick them up- Applications are due back to your counselor no later than January 31st by 4pm. Carver Center will be hosting 3 parent orientations: Tuesday, January 16th @ 6pm, Wednesday January 17th at 11am, and Thursday, January 18th at 6pm.
